Coldstream Planting Party

Join Greenspace Trust for a Litter-clean-up-tree-mulching-native-planting-Party! Coldstream Park is a special location. It’s along Legacy Trail, near Cane Run stream. It happens to be a collection point for litter that has flowed into the stream from downtown and the interstate.
During our Planting Party, we will plant native plants, which are especially important near streams to help filter polluted stormwater before it flows into the water. We will also clean up litter in the stream.
Free breakfast and coffee will be provided for volunteers. BYOW (Bring Your Own Waders) or wear clothes appropriate for litter picking along a stream.
Volunteers should meet at the large concrete dome (wet weather storage tank).
