Lex Grow Trees Community Tree Planting at Oakdale Apartments

Join Trees Lexington as they head back to Oakdale Apartments to plant 50 trees in Phase 2 of increasing tree canopy in Lexington’s Council District 2, part of their Lex Grow Trees grant project.
Celebrate community and the benefits of a healthy tree canopy with neighbors and volunteers at Oakdale Apartments on November 23rd from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
In the fall of 2023, Trees Lexington planted 32 trees as part of a pilot project for what would become Lex Grow Trees. Now, with further support from Lex Grow Trees and funding from Lexington Fayette Urban County Government, they are returning to plant 50 trees in a second phase of tree canopy installation!
Please RSVP to this event if you plan to attend. We will provide FREE FOOD for volunteers! Wear closed-toe shoes, bring a water bottle, and bring a friend!
