If you love trees and want to see more of them in your neighborhood, the Lex Grow Trees Community Ambassador Program needs you! Organized by Bluegrass Greensource, this initiative aims to increase environmental equity and expand Lexington’s tree canopy by distributing free native trees, providing community education, and engaging local ambassadors.

Support our Reforestation efforts by running, walking or skipping the Reforest Frenzy held at Hisle Park. Proceeds will support our Reforest the Bluegrass event which plants trees to improve water quality and our tree canopy. 

Make sure to score your free tree, compliments of the Trees Lexington with support from the Fayette County Conservation District. Their Spring Tree Giveaway is Saturday, March 22nd from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
